The National Board of Review is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the cinema that every year awards the best films and actors in its sole discretion.

This year, among the winners, there are also three films that we know very well and that we are very proud of: A Better Life (film by Chris Weitz) and 50/50 (with Bryce Dallas Howard and Anna Kendrick) were awarded as best independent films in a list of ten, and The Help (with Bryce Dallas Howard) has received the award for best cast.

Other prize in sight for our Robert Pattinson?? We hope, what is sure is that he has been nominated for Best British Actor in view of the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards!

Only UK residents may vote and voting will close on September 10 and the winner will be crowned on October 9. The fight is tough this time … What do you think..is he going to win??

These days is taking place the Milan Film Festival in Italy, and as we had announced here in the race was also present Welcome To The Rileys, the film with James Gandolfini and Kristen Stewart of last year.

Yesterday the winners were announced, and our beloved Kris managed to get the award for Best Actress in the role of the ill-fated Mallory! Unfortunately the film failed to get even the prizes for Best Film and Best Actor (for Gandolfini), but the leading actress award for a film that unfortunately has not yet been purchased and distributed in Italy is already a great achievement! !

Awards are in the air for the pack!

Chaske Spencer and Gil Birmingham have both been nominated in the category of Best Actor in Film/TV for his performance in the TheTwilight Saga: New Moon (Chaske) and Eclipse (Gil).

The North American Indigenous Image Awards (NAIIA) will be held on Friday April 29th, 2011,at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico on the majestic Pueblo Reservation. The NAIIA recognizes and promotes the advancement of Native Americans and Canadian Aboriginals for their efforts in the entertainment industry. The show is the first of its kind and will award artists in the genres of film, television, news, music, comedy, and photography.

Of course we keep our fingers crossed for them!

The formidable Michael Sheen, terrifing and perfect Aro of Volturi in Twilight Saga, won a valuable prize.

This is the James Joyce Award, a literary prize awarded by the Literary and Historical Society at University College in Dublin for those who have achieved outstanding results in their field.

And Michael is definitely an excellent element in his field don’t you think?

We all remember the movie “Remeber me” where Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a troubled young adult. Probably the shock of the death of Rob is still fresh in our memory, and just thanks to this good effect, the scene of the death of Tyler Hawkins was included among the “ 5 Best Death Scenes of 2010” by ScreenJunkies

All knew that there would be a surprise, but never we expected a surprise like this!

Let’s face it, we were definitely shocked watching the scene of the death of Tyler, at the end of the film when a camera reveals a zoom on Tyler standing inside one of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11.

E ‘already alarm bells when the teacher of his sister writes on the chalkboard the date, but it is too late.

Absolutely it was a beautiful scene, full of meaning, moving and launching a strong message …

Deserves recognition … definitely …

The popularity of Twilight Saga’s movies has truly invaded the world.

Visible sign is the fact that win awards in Japan land.

In fact Eclipse won the Award as best foreign film at a very important festival in Japan, the Mainichi Film Festival’s Tsutaya Fan Movie Awards, now in its 65th edition, premium based on votes from fans. Fans have also demonstrated their enthusiasm for the third installment of the Twilight Saga by voting and making it come first, followed by Harry Potter in the second and third in Toy Syory 3.

Well another recognition of our saga of dreams that does is prove how much love and passion will be able to donate!!
